Candlelit Compline
Friday 28th November 7.30-8pm
Join us for the first College Compline by candlelight, with music from the 16th Century to the present day. This traditional service features 25 minutes of music focusing on the closing of the day, sung by a recently formed quintet of Imperial students. We hope that people of all backgrounds will find this a meditative and relaxing way to conclude the week.
Music:
In pace – John Sheppard
Te lucis ante terminum – Thomas Morely
Nunc dimitis – Paul Smith
Ubi caritas – Ola Gjeilo
Plainsong – Traditional
